Top tip: Check out Amaroq Mastodon app on iOS. Very good. There will be others for sure but Amaroq works a treat.
I am not reading comments on Hacker News because I pretty much remember all the various sentiments from my first "Show HN", and I do not have the energy to also answer questions there
But as others have pointed out, these are all nice problems to have. I am so happy that people are finally using my work at large. <3

OK, I know nothing so help me out here. Am I right in thinking it's possible to have multiple identical usernames across all instances? How does that work for identity usability?
Serious time, to become truly decentralized, we need to be able to move between instances WITHOUT losing followers etc.
We wouldn't have an alternative to the bird site without 8 years of dedicated work by GNU Social. I'm very worried about the fact that we lack the imagination to conceive of a world beyond capitalism, and this is why the work of the socialist movement is so important today.
