It blows my mind how frequently I have to explain to adults who work in tech how to use bcc.
@nsqe email sucks, what do you want ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@nsqe It's mind blowing isn't it? I want to go home for the day when I am included on some informational email with 50 recipients and then this reply all misery starts:
Thanks!
Got it!
OK.
Thanks for the info.
Copy!
Understood.
and then the worst...someone asks a question because they don't understand the email.
@farrar That is the worst (and that is actually what I am trying to stem: the reply-all drahms).
Like...most of you have been using email all your adult lives. What part of not using reply-all do you not understand? How are you not aware of the misery that will follow?
Just...just don't.
@nsqe best part is when BCC is hidden on mail clients. basically encouraging reply-all hell
@nsqe I don't know what some british news agency has to do with my motivational email to all staff. You need to focus on figuring out why our email is down!
