should I start a patreon? I would at least like to subsidize the ~$60 or so I spend per month hosting bots and other long-term internet projects. and maybe a few extra bucks so I can feel good about the tiny bit of foss labor that I do (mostly on my own python libraries). and maybe a few extra bucks so I can work on other stuff. but to the extent that the patreon money pool is zero-sum I feel bad siphoning money from people that might need it more than me. thoughts?

@aparrish would being paid for your work on open source make you more or less likely to enjoy doing it? There's a danger of crowding out incentives.
