Time to hackintosh this stupid laptop so my partner will actually use it instead of wanting to spend a few hundreds of dollars on a "better" one.

Sometimes I use my different Mastodon accounts to have long private conversations with myself to figure out what my different personas would say about a situation. It would be better if I weren't all fairly clueless. #mastodon

I have learned how to test client certificate authenticated apis with PowerShell. It turned out to be pretty easy. If we just ran Linux, I could have been done days ago both writing the APIs and setting up testing though.

Not just trying to be show offy here. These really are the games that I played more than any others. Gorilla.bas was the first game I modded. I will still play River City Ransom whenever I can. Rogue was the best game on our computers at the time (ok, qbert was better but was harder to play because the Atom wasn't just sitting around and plugged in). And the first Myst game was mind blowing.

In an interview, one of my co-workers is asking about programming concepts so basic that I don't remember the names of them. Glad I'm not the one she's grilling. Not sure how this helps determine a candidates skill.

@neckardt I'm just getting started with angular myself. I'm working on a CRUD application for some fairly simple data that uses a separately written restful API to load and save stuff. I'm still a lot better at understanding the services code than the front end, but I can take somebody else's data model and add a column without breaking it (woo!). @neckardt Pelican static site generator is interesting. Angular is neat for complicated apps.

I guess I'm going to read Proust now, but only so I can get the jokes about him in other books.
