The section on the Great Depression and unemployment statistics has me particularly excited to be reading Stapleford's history of the Consumer Price Index next. (Is that weird?)
Reading Margo Anderson's social history of the US census. Quite captivating! I'm up to the 1940 census, where the Bureau seems to have finally entered its modern form
