@nixy hi nixy nice to see u around. i was also playing a lot with nixos. but currently i'm on slackware. Maybe some time i'll switch back to nixos. i love the concept :D

I can understand going back from NixOS. It can be a big pain in the butt.
The best part of Nix in my opinion is you can still install it on top of other distros. I use it all the time at work to get updated tools (leiningen, ruby, etc) on Debian boxes. Not sure how much that would help on Slackware though
