I am saddened to discover that Opus 1.2 did not make it in to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. Even weirder to see Debian stable shipped with a 1.2alpha. Maybe at this rate I'll be able to build custom 1.3 packages once its released.

I've been seeing an increase in posts admonishing the reader for not being concerned about ALL THE THINGS and only focusing on the crisis du jour. Well, guess what? I can only handle so many crises at a time. It's not that I don't care about them all. It's not that I don't think we shouldn't be doing better on all fronts. It's just that I'm so far in spoon debt and you gotta pick and choose where your outrage goes. And that will change by day, hour, or possibly minute.
