@staticsafe Can you do me a favor? I have a .webm file that plays fine in browser, but when I try to upload it to Mastodon I get a "500 Server Error". Can you try to upload it and report what you get in the error logs?

@staticsafe That's what I suspected. It's trying to create a thumbnail and failing. Thanks for the feedback!
I think I'm gonna submit a bug report on it not trapping that condition very well. User probably ought to get a more meaningful error or a black frame thumbnail.
