Kansas is burning so much stuff that the air quality here in Lincoln, Nebraska is terrible.

Our governor wants to enact the Kansas governor's terrible tax policies, which have gutted education and infrastructure.

There's some kind of witty commentary to be made but I'm not great at that kind of thing.

I went to a talk earlier about the process of editing one of David Livingstone's books. His editors cut 32 pages of him describing why the imperialist attitude towards africans was doomed to failure, because it was "too political."
