I have no idea why my toes are so icy when the outside temperature is above freezing and the inside is heated, but my heating pad makes going to bed appealing.

@nivex @rey I just look forward to spring, and not having cold toes (as often)! Lagomorphs are bonus.

I can't believe I found a use case (at work, no less!) for ... github.com/pjf/rickastley

I saw forsythia in bloom this morning! I consider that the annual sign that spring will happen!

Now, please thaw my fingers and toes.

I know I've been chasing the same recurring problem for far too long when I look at the pager message and think: Oh, hey, something different for a change!

@memnus Trousers: highly over-rated!

After @ursulav and @ksonney I thought I had passed the peak of my Saturday. Then I went to a party for a friend (party because her divorce was finalized Friday): different crowd, but I met EVEN MORE amazing people and found an old friend. I had a blast yesterday, there's no way to match or beat that today (or even to try), so I think I will nurture my introvert side by staying home on this rainy day.

So much epic yesterday. So tired today. Also soothing rain sounds. Also hamster princess.

@MightyBigCar SO MUCH THAT! Talk to @ksonney and @ursulav - try not to SQUEE - try to speak like a coherent person. :)

Some cats bring mice. Mine brings and entire red panda up the stairs to bed. #Caturday #mastocats #cats

I chatted with @ksonney this afternoon (always a pleasure), and I met @ursulav too! (I don't think I collapsed into fan girl.)

If you enjoy the silliness of following an individual path with flair, I highly recommend the Harriet the Hamster Princess series. (I've loved all of her books that I've read, so I'm happy I have more yet to read.)

I enjoy using power tools! (FUN!) I'm glad I completed a project, too. One down ...

I completed a (minor) house project in a single day!

My attic disappearing stairs weren't even, so I removed the lower section and evened the ends with my circular saw so the stairs are stable to climb and don't gouge the floor. I added felt pads to protect the floor even more (once I found the felt!). After a trip to the hardware store, all connecting bolts now have nuts with lock washers. Much safer now!

And no one but me will notice ... thanks for listening, Fediverse!

F-Droid, the repository of #freesoftware apps for Android phones, is collaborating with @ExodusPrivacy and @YalePrivacyLab to create tools to automate the process of finding tracking in apps. Bravo! https://u.fsf.org/2ga

@NeuroWinter Yay! I hope you enjoy Marty as much as I enjoyed Linus! He was a great kitty, but I had concerns at the start.

@NeuroWinter My favorite cat Linus spent his first three weeks under the couch! Then I had to go on a week-long trip, so my generous friend Cheryl sat on the floor near my invisible cat that week When I came home, he was the good buddy that he was for the rest of his life!

I have no idea if he needed time to decide he was in a safe house (he was a SCAREDY CAT), or if he needed the patience of Cheryl to coax him out, or some combination of both. May your kitten be as delightful as Linus was!

@rey Yes, that's why I gave numbers. My bulbs are on 6LoPAN: 2.4 GHz unfortunately, but not 802.11.

@rey 32 active DHCP leases (4 people, 12 hour leases), but only 2 active on wireless (not sure why my phone isn't showing up as active on WiFi because it sure thinks it has wireless).
