If you've not installed youtube-dl on your GNU/Linux machine yet, DO IT.
It's one of the most powerful packages on my PC, shit is god-tier.
This listserv e-mail lottery thing, where each day one randomly selected person gets the opportunity to write an e-mail to AFAIR 22k+ strangers is pretty cool. Subscribed a couple of years ago, can't say 100% of e-mails are super-interesting to me, but most of them are superb, I've never been disappointed.
Apparently there's a new Indie Bundle out that they will keep releasing games to in a week?
If you're looking to buy it now already, remember that you can use our Humble Partner Link to support me and @Loa on our quest to sustain ourselves on streaming and gaming.

This is an exciting day to be on mastodon.
Also a friendly reminder, it's okay to unfollow people! So follow liberally, and then unfollow if it's not the right fit. There's no hard feelings here. We can still see and engage with each other. Or you can adjust your privacy settings (per posts!) to only display to a limited scope!
So basically, I'm a human
I like linux, games, coding, game coding, tiny computers
I code for tiny computers for money
I think anime is pretty cool sometimes
I have super varied music interests but listen to lots of shoegazey electronica and ambient electronic and game music. Sometimes I make ambient electronic music, I have a soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/ersatz-waterfall not that anyone cares
I am solidly under the LGBTQ+ umbrella
I am anxious about everything and the world is scary
A collection of things I made for people new to #Mastodon, based on questions I commonly see in the public timelines during influxes of new folks. :)

‘Stephen Hawking’s final words to the internet: robots aren’t the problem, capitalism is’
“If machines produce everything we need, the outcome will depend on how things are distributed. Everyone can enjoy a life of luxurious leisure if the machine-produced wealth is shared, or most people can end up miserably poor if the machine-owners successfully lobby against wealth redistribution.”
