@drymer Sí, al final veig que sí federen els reposts. Quan ho vaig escriure encara no m'havien arribat, però és que he vist que entre la instància on sóc (octodon.social) i quitter.no, a vegades triguen una bona estona en arribar les coses (tipus 15 minuts, o més)

Perquè poder visualitzar un timeline públic local d'un node sense fer-hi login no deu ser possible, no? A GNU Social sí, i mola perquè així pots localitzar més penya, i seguir-les

@spla El difícil equilibri entre una (possible?, probable?) bona adminstració d'un node i la penya que hi sigui. Bé, potser crear un compte a un servidor que pinti seriós més una a un que pinti interessant. Explorar des de l'interessant, i utilitzar el "seriós" per a les interaccions...

Potser hi ha quelcom que m'estic perdent, però trobo complicat trobar fàcilment penya interessant a seguir... Potser he creat un compte a un node tonto per a mi

OK, I have to say this: in GNU Social there is this wonderful thing called Groups. You can follow a group and then you get any message which mentions the group, and, if you follow a group, you can mention it in a message and everyone will receive yours. Without anyone having to specifically follow anyone in the group... I'm sure many have already pointed this here XD

@nonphatic I can't see any button once I've launched the search...

So after entering a search, I can't seem to go make the search result disappear, so I can't write any other toot unless I reload the whole page. Weird, isn't it? Anybody reading public posts, by the way? o_O'

OK, as far as I've seen: written messages federate without problems between #GNUSocial nodes and #Mastodon nodes. RTs (aka boosts here) however do not seem to federate (in any of both ways), which I think it really sucks. Too bad.
