Maybe I will use octodon to share what I am eating. Last week, I enjoyed fresh fruit from Frog Hollow Farm, the farm that supplies Chez Panisse in Berkeley. Someone surprised me with a gift.

The pears were fantastic. After some ripening, they offered the perfect combination of melting sugary liquid with a texture that still yielded to each bite.

For the main I had Shyakpa, which was great. It reminded me of my childhood, when my parents would put dumplings in our soup too: http://bossnepal.com/shyakpa-type-sherpa-noodle/

Went to a nice Nepali restaurant and enjoyed the Momos. So tasty!

The Pollen has attacked in force here in Boston, so I have quarantined myself inside until my dissertation defense.

A baby squirrel found its way into our apartment building today and climbed through the radiator into my room.

After failing to coax it out with peanut butter and extra Easter candy, I finally managed to attract it with a brightly colored sock and bright red bag.

The squirrel wouldn't leave by the window but did allow me to carry it (in the bag) out to a park with beautiful trees, bushes, and flowers. I last saw it hopping among the grass and tulips at the base of a large oak.

Submitted the dissertation for realz. Now time to get back to supporting online communities with moderation questions.

@seanbonner will you be there the next day? On May 1st, I'm defending my dissertation on citizen science in the governance of online behavior. There are so many things we can learn from each other!

@Danhon I could see the good folks at r/science coordinating their ~1400 moderators to manage something like that
