Some folks (including Eugen) have called for witches.town to be taken over by someone else. While I think that it's a valid idea, I kinda wonder if users would even be fine with that? It means all your data - including private/instance-wide toots - are taken over.

It also makes me wonder how much I actually trust this random person running my instance. Maybe I should move to chaos.social just because I feel I know @leah enough to have some trust there?
