As parent-to-a-kid I am quite confident nowadays, but as parent-to-siblings I feel often lost and am still looking for “golden rules” (What do I do/don’t when siblings interact? I mean, I already found some “rules”, but I still miss so many.)
I just quit my freelance gig with privacyweekberlin and I really don't recommend other web developers work for them. They expect so much in terms of work and unpaid meetings and your time is worth more than that.
Also special warning for women - the project lead has: expected emotional labour from me for his relationship, ignored my no repeatedly when I don't want to explain sexuality, and even made a threat about hitting his girlfriend while only I was around. I was expected to be Web dev and therapist.
Asking for a friend: do clients in the Berlin region go on switter or is switter actually good for finding work in Berlin.

Traurig, aber wahr.
Viel schlimmer finde ich, dass man als Nicht-Whatsapper dann auch noch gnadenlos ausgegrenzt wird. Vereine, Eltern von Kita-/Schul-Kinder usw organisieren sich nur noch so. 😖

Wenn man sich #DSGVO sowie die #PAG der Bundesländer anschaut dann kommt man Objektiv zum Ergebniss, dass sich der #Staat real auf einen #Bürgerkrieg vorbereitet.
So Max Schrems is sueing Google and Facebook for ~4 Billion € each for #GDPR violations. We take this possibility for granted, but let that sink in for a moment: we live in a society where a random individual can sue multibillion dollar companies for huge fines, and doesn't have to fear for his life or fear significant other repercussions. Not too bad actually.

Also, it's really hard to be a prescriptivist when you're really into etymology. It's difficult to complain about linguistic drift when you know exactly how much language has drifted even in the last hundred years.

Automated voice calls and automated dialects are already used by political parties and businesses. In the end telephony will be like email: a way to be spammed. We will hide our phone numbers and refuse to take calls from strangers. It’s what I already do. #telephony #spam
