A few folks have hit me up and asked why I'm so down on white people, so negative, so hostile, etc.

This has always been a funny question to me because it completely ignores the history past and current of white identified peoples and their continuing violence against people who do not look, think, act like them.

I don't view resisting, fighting, not humoring people who want you dead as 'controversial'. I view it as common sense.

@eribloodlust And like airbnb is less than a decade old. It's not like an ingrained part of society, is a recent disease we should all be trying to fight off. It's not a fundamental service you can't get otherwise. There are hostels and hotels and guest rooms and other ways of finding short term sublets.

like if you can't stay in a hostel or hotel for accessibility purposes and similarly you can't find a sublet through other means, that's fine but I don't think that describes a significant number of airbnb users.

City planning is a dope field of study and I think more people, esp women/nbs, and minorities, should get in to it.

Have you heard of StreetComplete? It's an Android app that shows you open questions/issues with OpenStreetMap in your area, and asks you to answer them.

It's made for people with no experience with #OpenStreetMap, so it shows only very simple questions that can be answered very clearly. ("What is printed on this street sign?", "What's the number on this house?")
