I can’t yet put it in good words: When thinking about trauma over generations I repeatedly also stumble over this abomination of cutting on minimum welfare / existence minimum / Harz IV that is practiced in Germany. And how I think it mustn’t be easy to not let this existential threat trickle down to your kids. Or maybe: What cruel, man-made violence it is to still cut on the minimum and what we are emotionally doing not only to adults but also to their kids.
