#sffbookclub, take note. After a suggestion from @jake , I have set up a LiberaPay account to subsidize book club participants who might not otherwise be able to read a selection due to costs.
I've seeded the donations, but please consider contributing so that more people can enjoy the club.
I'm Naga. A statistical consultant by training and trade, but more here for general social interaction, especially geeky, sometimes sexy/kinky, and occasionally left-wing political. Oh, and new-dad stuff. Dragonlet is my toddler, Jalan is my wife.

Street urchin determines to apprentice himself to the best (and nihilistic) "wetboy" (wetboys sneer at mere assassins) in a medieval fantasy setting. Many deaths ensue.
It's not bad, but it's not special. The tone jumps around, as does the scope (is this about the apprentice/mentor relationship? About local or regional politics? Why is it suddenly multiple-perspective?).
Meh. I'll finish it, but probably won't read the sequels.
This is by far my favorite Pride Flag design, and I do hope it takes hold.

I've started a book club hashtag master list, because I'm a busybody. Feel free to let me know about any hashtags you know of that I've missed or that you want to start up! Also let me know if you want your handle to be associated with a certain hashtag, as its leader/organizer. #sffbookclub #wicdivclub

Quote from a friend of mine by the name of Lyndane:
"A dragon is just a wyvern-taur."
