@reibeatall Hang in there. Hope it gets better.

@jessmahler I . . . don't think that should count.

@Canageek Ah, we do it the other way around. Create a flat map, load it into Roll20, then place icons on the map to move around, use the lighting effects, etc.

@Canageek Yep. Hasn't changed much in look since ages ago, but they do continue to upgrade features.

@Nentuaby @bridgebury @zephasaurus_hex I've got Starless on audio, queued up soon.

@Canageek rpol.net has a great die roller and good aliasing and private messaging, but no map support. I combine it with maps on a free account on roll20. HTH

@alice Granted, my funding is backloaded to be mostly in FY23, but I'll appreciate it no less then!

Good news! A grant proposal for which I consult has been recommended for funding.

Formal decision probably this week, but rare for any trouble twixt one and t'other.

I feel like Lola Bunny did a much better job of convincing kids of the 90s to be furries than it did of convincing anyone that Bugs is straight.

@rixx We finally watched Coco this weekend. Very aww indeed.

"This is a travesty," the dwarf muttered into his wine goblet, standing beside the buffet table.

An old human nearby jerked her head and hissed, "How can you say that? Haven't you ever seen two men more in love?"

The dwarf's face reddened as he grumbled dourly, "It's... not THAT at all... it's..."

"Because one's an elf and one's an orc?" accused the human.

"What, no! ...Though what DOES K'ord have that I don't?" sniffled the dwarf.

The only good thing about Hollywood these days is the dramatic rise in roles that Jessica Chastain can drive a film along in and completely own to the extent that it’s embarrassing for a male actor to be onscreen near her

@zephasaurus_hex She's doing a lot of intriguing things as her career and writing have matured. And is now writing largely stand-alones, so less daunting than trilogies of trilogies.

Though I loved the Sundering duology from early on, it didn't get much notice. An homage to Lord of the Rings told primarily from the POV of the Dark Lord's top general.
