@kara @naga Check out Oberon. Wirth threw out a lot that was wrong with Pascal, and added some very few useful things.

@bonhomme @kara I saw the first three words of this come across as a browser notification, and couldn't *imagine* where it was going.

@kara @naga Not quite as terrible, though. Libc is actually useful, if archaic. C has halfway sane string literals. C does not force you to allocate files at compile time. 🤪
