Holy crap, biking in the snow REALLY SUCKS. No traction and infinite eye-burning due to snowflakes in my eyes. π¨π¨π¨ππ½ππ½ππ½
@advicepig ah, but that implies I can afford the time and $$ to replace my tires right now. Which I cannot. Just gotta power through finals week then Iβll be able to get that taken care of.
@moz A fair point, been there. Good luck with finals!
@moz I don't bust out the ski goggles for biking often, but when I do they can be a literal lifesaver.
@VinnieTesla I ended up stopping at a gas station and picking up a garish pair of plastic βaviatorsβ... so the eye-burning is mitigated for now.
@moz studded tires are the best if you have to routinely ride in the snow and ice.
