normal brain: Let's use XML for describing data structures

galaxy brain: Let's use XML for inline documentation of our data structures in XML and put the XML inside XML comments

@mjog I currently have to work with actual, real XML files, which are apparently even standardized like that in my company, which have actually useful information about the data inside of comments. It is just nice-to-know information, but still, you have an infinitely nestable data structure, which even already needlessly supports attributes to tag even more information onto your information, and then you choose to put potentially useful data in some custom string format into comments.

@friend Good times!

XML is a useful format for marking up human-readable text but not so much for data, so why not make both mistakes at the same time!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
