Yesterday I had a stroll in a park here in #Milan and noticed a strange mound. It turned out to be artificial, with a 19th-century underground temple below it. Unfortunately it‘s not accessible and the only way to peek into it is from an oculus at the top, which is sealed off with a grating. I could not see the interior because the oculus was in the shade. I will bring a flashlight next time.
I love this kind of urban discoveries. Cities are truly full of hidden places.

@miramarco Ah, I had missed the first toot. Really weird, but so interesting! Gonna check if it's recorded as cultural heritage next time I'm at the office in Milan.
