Yesterday I had a stroll in a park here in #Milan and noticed a strange mound. It turned out to be artificial, with a 19th-century underground temple below it. Unfortunately it‘s not accessible and the only way to peek into it is from an oculus at the top, which is sealed off with a grating. I could not see the interior because the oculus was in the shade. I will bring a flashlight next time.
I love this kind of urban discoveries. Cities are truly full of hidden places.

@fsiefken Oh, definitely not! From what I've read, the temple I found is much smaller, unadorned and neglected.
I didn't know about the Temples of Humankind. They look gorgeous!
