@ink_slinger I do not take part in their discussions very much, but I do check their posts via RSS and I enjoy them. My reasons for signing up for a monthly donation are: (1) I owe a lot to and it’s time for me to pay back, (2) it’s one of the few public examples of how well a moderated community can work, (3) I want other people (and not just me) to enjoy the site, and (4) anything that breaks the monopoly Facebook and Google have on news should be supported
