@mirabilis This is one of the reasons I'm so worried about moving and probably having to put my son into a public school. The Progressive one he goes to now is so good and child-centered, and others like it exist, but the tuition in other areas can be twice what it is here.
@mirabilis My point is, I guess, I shouldn't have to pay college tuition prices to ensure my 2nd grader and his schoolmates are actually being centered in their classrooms.
@reedsandstrings I understand those concerns. I wish I could fix all the schools, so that your son and all of his generation would have better educational experiences. And without you paying crazy tuition fees for private schools!
@mirabilis I’m a homeschooling mom, unschooler, and now mom of school kids. I’m thankful our district is not big on homework. (And I ❤️ Alfie Kohn)
