There was an explosion, and the fridge door flew open.
That was... interesting. Turns out the hotel where I was staying last night had put cans of sugary drinks in the fridge. And somebody set the fridge temperate too low, so they froze. BOOM.
Huge slushy mess.
@mirabilis Sounds like your hotel room was a high school science lab experiment or something .... I've often warned our kids, don't leave a can of soda in the freezer. Never had a sugar explosion. But good to know I wasn't talking out of my butt with that warning ...
@dogtrax Somewhere on Mastodon, a reader is thinking of an annoying co-worker who has a mini-fridge full of diet coke next to his desk. The temptation to dial the fridge temperature down to the freezing point will be difficult to resist.
