How on earth do you write educational songs without them sounding hopelessly cheesy :/

@jannamark I haven't recorded it yet, but I will do! It's part of an idea I had for a new podcast :)

Wrote a song describing the difference between linear and logistic regression, pretty sure the music industry will be knocking down my door any day now

Reminiscing about Libre.fm's birthday is making me want to start podcasting again

I'm using all the advanced research into AI and natural language processing that our company has produced to make a text adventure...

I made a Chrome extension which uses our Cape AI to answer questions based on the web page you're currently viewing. Check out a demo video here:

@mardy I made some fixes to Bacon2D a little while back to support moving between tile maps plus some fixes for different sized tiles, I haven't had much time more recently unfortunately though. I'll try and get back to it soon :)

On the train to , will be good to be back, haven't been for 4 years :)

Recently Mozilla released an open source implementation of Baidu’s DeepSpeech architecture, along with a pre-trained model using data collected as part of their Common Voice project.

In an attempt to make it easier for application developers to start working with the DeepSpeech model I’ve developed a GStreamer plugin, an IBus plugin and created some PPAs (plus a demo video):

Sitting by a lake and hacking on a game, redundancy isn't so bad :)

@sanspoint Yes! Main thing I remember is being able to do something with a scarecrow to make the sun smile at you :)

@LarreaMikel I'll see about adding some touch controls next and get something up and running on the phone :)

Bacon2D has recently added Tiled support, so I'm using that for level editing as it's very nicely suited to this sort of thing

Doing a little bit of for the first time in nearly a year! Using QML and Bacon2D to make a silly platform game where your character's inner monologue constantly narrates your actions :)
