Pleroma is another implementation of ActivityPub that supports most of the Mastodon-specific bits, too. So you can use a Pleroma instance and also use Mastalab or Tusky to connect to it.

Many of the founding devs of Pleroma prefer shorter/no code of conduct, plus the founding communities' accounts were often blocked. This was a rocky start.

The software itself is good, though!

I refuse to put a subject on my emails. That is self censorship and moreover when I leave the subject line blank I get higher engagement. As a lover of free speech I will not add subjects at my emails!

In short: caching and performance for switter.at was provided via Cloudflare (based in the US). They proved untrustworthy, and now it's provided by CDN77 (based in the UK).

I think it'll be a rocky few months (hopefully that short ...). Also, Assembly Four is doing an amazing job.
