Switter is the most interesting case here, to me. A lot of the spam is individual people trying to quickly get their business back up to speed by engaging in the same behavior that worked on birdsite - collecting followers, following everyone as an ad, etc.

I can see Switter being silenced (not blocked) by most Mastodon instances if this behavior keeps up.

Is an Instagram account also a Facebook account? If you #deleteFacebook but keep your IG have you done anything?

I was staring at a PSA on the train this morning that mentioned "one less worry" and my first thought was "probably should be 'fewer'" but then I wondered: when will we stop caring? Are we already there? It's a grammar rule that doesn't seem to resolve any problems.

"Nonsensical" is a tall claim. Is there a time when using the ungrammatical word causes ambiguity?

(Though that is a statement about my word play abilities and not a statement about language...)
