Apparently some ISPs decided @SDF was "dark web" and blocked it. How long until @tildetown gets the same thing? Your mastodon instance? Netflix?
The funny part is that w/ the kind of stuff I've been hearing from Tobago Tracks etc, I'd be completely unsurprised if those both appeared in one mix someone did
I've listened to nothing but the entirety of Kurtlanmak/Damascus alternating with looping X Blood Riddim over and over today...
remember when yunnan sourcing had a decent site
I guess part of why I felt like complaining is that I feel like if someone saw Mastodon as "typical chat/web utility to self-host" they'd be scared off of doing other practical things they can do with a lot less
(I know Mastodon is a lot heavier, that's why it also pisses me off that people act like complaining about its perf/resource usage is quibbling)
XMPP is "my normal internet connection, $10 a year for a domain name, and a small ARM SBC"
These figures re: mastodon seem insane to me because they assume VPS only forever
I mean...
Every time I go shopping for something I end up with absurdly specific reqs and just never buy it
I'm guessing probably not
I wonder if anything else as close to power electronics as this ever appeared on Warp
it's got all the CDs and documentation with it...
man, humidity makes running miserable, esp. when you're out of shape
Guilty pleasure, possibly?
