If Google follows Microsoft and is discovered to be working with ICE, I have to take a long hard look at if I can keep working here. I'm working on defensive security for the most widely distributed operating system in personal devices, which I count as a *lot* of "making things better" points. I've used that to justify staying so far. But if it gets worse?

Apparently I burned my airport luck on the US side. Got "randomly" selected for extra screening, the agent explained in French what he was about to do then got started without confirming that I actually understood. He also had no idea how to pay down someone in a skirt, had to ask his female coworker, but apparently didn't feel like she would be the more appropriate one to pat me down in the first place.

@sev Gah! At least he knows where home is, but that's a heck of a scare.
