@Canageek Not much but the one booked ticket in my future is for a conference in Montreal in June, and AC had the best schedule

Also the best way to get to Tokyo from here turned out to be "drive to Vancouver and fly on Air Canada"

@memnus Which is weird, as my parents always drove down to Detroit and flew from there as it was usually upwards of 30% less.

Air Canada is Canada's worst airline. Westjet is a lot better, and usually cheaper, which when you are me is really important.

@Canageek at the risk of applying national stereotypes to corporations, keep in mind that what I have to compare "Canada's worst airline" to is ... all of the US airlines.

@memnus Well, I've flown on...United and Delta, and I'd say they are about the same as Air Canada? But it has been a LONG time since I flew Air Canada. We had a couple years in a row of bad stuff and gave up with them. Once our flight was delayed like, 10 hours, and they lost our luggage once...

Westjet we've used ever since without a problem, I think they lost my luggage once they brought it to me at work.

Plus they give their employees stock options.

@Canageek Yeah, I fly Alaska or JetBlue when at all possible, and as long as I stick to the west coast (or large cities to the east) I can get away with it. International gets a lot harder, though.

Also I still have to update my passport, that will be "fun"
