Oh jeez, a expected, Handmaid's Tale is *fucking my shit up hard*. It's too goddamn real. It's not supposed to feel like a documentary, and yet, here we are.
(And yes, I've read the book, it fucked me up too, but that was a while ago when fascist theocracy was a bit more distant.)
