2) maybe this makes me trash but i have to go with the harry potter series. it's the series that inspired my love of reading so
3) gosh. i feel like it's been so long since i read a book that i *hated* that i no longer have a good answer for this. instead: last book that i had a lot of mixed feelings about. Cooked by Michael Pollan. i learned a lot but it also got annoyingly preachy at times when i just wanted history
@melted Spell It Out! looks like an interesting read! I think Harry Potter definitely qualifies. it has spurred the love for reading in many youths, as well as having a very appealing and detailed plot!
@s02303947 It definitely is an interesting read. I picked it up cheap at a uni booksale on a whim and do not regret it.
And yeah. I feel like HP is the "typical" answer for people my age, which makes me a lil like trash to say it. But there is a reason it's the typical answer so *shrug*
