i, wanted to pick an instance that has ipv6 support because i'm a huge nerd lmao
@00dani What are the advantages to ipv6 support?
@majormobius essentially nothing at the moment, tbh. ipv6 websites can only be practical when run dual-stack right now (meaning they still work over ipv4 as well), so you aren't conserving ipv4 addresses by adding ipv6 support. there's also no performance boost i'm aware of. it's future-proofing for when we finally do switch to ipv6-only, but that's a long way off. so right now ipv6 support is only worth nerd cred

@00dani You have a nice point about the value of future proofing the service. Like I wouldn't buy into hardware operating on usb2.0
