I have a feeling that pretty soon I won't be able to just read the federated timeline and have a good experience. Are there any interesting people out there yet for me to follow?

@kirkman Maybe it can be more effective to block high frequency, low interest users as a transition state
@majormobius I can also see a use case for muting entire instances at the end-user level at some point.
@kirkman It remains a little unclear if the instances are going to drift in a thematic direction like subreddits but I've seen speculation in that direction which would bolster your point
@majormobius It would be a good thing, but I have seen how fast things can scroll. I need to curate it and reduce the stress on my brain!
