I ordered some groceries to be delivered today before 3 and I haven’t heard anything. I am starting to really worry about the driver. Nobody here seems to understand the concepts of “snow” or “ice” and I really hope my order is just delayed or even canceled and that he is not dead in a ditch somewhere. Sigh.
Update: the driver called to say they couldn’t make my delivery due to the weather. Thank goodness they’re ok. I miss my groceries but I’m glad I know what’s going on and that nobody is stuck on the side of the road on Christmas Eve.
Also, this is a pretty pitiful amount of snow to my east coast eyes but it seems they don’t know what road salt or snow plows are here so I guess it makes sense that everything has screeched to a halt.
