Anyone still uses email clients on Windows? What do you recommend?

I hope people have answers to this because 20~ minutes searching the web was not helpful.
(one desktop email app wants you to pay a monthly fee for the privilege of using their app)

My favorite is emclient, but the pro version isn't cheap. Postbox is a Thunderbird fork and inexpensive and quite good, although when I last checked, calendar support wasn't as good as em client's. Thunderbird, I'm guessing, is a known entity.
