@XopherY Hi! My dad originates from Edinburgh. Do I count? Family all live in England these days, though we've seen a lot of #Scotland.

@XopherY One cousin still lives in Edinburgh. He is elderly. I have never met his children so I kinda count him as the "last" relative there. Our clan is MacNaughton! Do you know which clan your ancestors were?

@ljpg I come from the Mowats, who I understand are/were part of the Sutherland clan. My ancestor George Mowat came from Caithness.

I also am descended from a Colin Hamilton from ?Lanark? That one was supposed to be the youngest son of a Duke. Not sure that I believe that though.

@XopherY Ah, we've all got a duke... Ours is said to have lost the family fortune and castle by getting extremely drunk on the morning of his wedding, then running off with his wife-to-be's sister! Or something... Ha!
