Welcome twitter refugees! Show more
You see where there was a little "SHOW MORE" button just there that you pressed to see the rest of this? That's a content warning (or CW)
You use those whenever you want to make a toot (stop giggling at the back, we know, that's what it's called, get over it) that mentions something that other people might not want to see
Stuff like politics (it's exhausting), drugs, NSFW stuff, health discussions, selfies, and so on
That's a non-exhaustive list, just be considerate
HOW TO USE MASTODON, AN EASY GUIDE:
1. see something nice when going about your day
2. write about it
3. revel in the fact that we are all just people
4. give emotional support and validation to others who write about that nice thing they saw today
If you, #fediverse, doesn't know, but together Spanish and Portuguese have more than 700 million people around the world.
We are Latins and most of us talk a lot. It is part of what we are as people.
I want to believe this is a free place to share and talk, sorry for the "flood", but I would like to ask you for respect. We are not bad people.
Hey #Fediverse. When you post pictures, please please please with puppies on top fill in that description box for the visually impaired. You will be helping us out tremendously. We want to enjoy your pictures as much as others do. You don't have to write a novel, but just fill in some details.
Thanks with much love:

Only 8 pages are up so far so you can get through that quickly! Updates with a new page every Monday.
Spread the word if you can! I would really appreciate it.
I am not a shitposter. Each and every one of my posts is a finely sculpted work of art and I should be respected as an artist.
I don't know what Android fans who accuse the iPhone of being overpriced are smoking. What you get for that money is a phone that doesn't have any flaws. What I mean is that, whether you like it or not, everything you experience on an iPhone is deliberate. It either works perfectly or it's not implemented at all. Nothing is ever half-assed. You're not only paying for components. You're paying for tight UI, tight HW, tight ecosystem, everything's tight, and Apple users happen to like that.
