@Herrkarl I chose the flute, mainly because I already have a history with it. The viola is completely new to me and it's a real pain to start from scratch with a new instrument when you have another instrument which you can play advanced pieces on.
But obviously it's not that easy to switch from 1 instrument to another in my music school due to their internal payment structures. Now I probably have a termination period of 3 months before I can go back to my former flute teacher ?!
