This is wonderful. Check out the whole thread, okay? #knitting
RT @JanelleCShane@twitter.com So I'm doing a project where I'm training a neural network to generate new knitting patterns. It's going very well.
This is "Mystery lace", test-knit by DataSock.

I'm no good at characters, so my #TheZoneCast fan art is all environmental stuff. Hopefully I can sort of capture the mood Griffin was going for.

Movement to replace the appropriative “is my spirit animal” and the super dorky Harry Potter reference “is my patronus” with “is my mech.” All in favor, just boost.
Some undead snowmen, based on #TheZoneCast Candle Nights episode.

A koan: if you're not following (a) a furry, (b) an admin, or (c) someone with an avatar drawn by Matt Cummings, are you really on Mastodon?
@Riley I found the images a while ago, I'm not as familiar with the show.
@Fenreliania Every time I get Deja Vu I post "Deja Vu" to twitter. Initially as a way to track it, and then because I liked the meta-ness of it.
@DarkestKale I don't actually know, it belonged to a co-worker, who no longer works there any more.
If you have a mastodon.social account but have moved over to a different server, you can login to your old account and, under edit profile, setup a profile redirect note.
@ekimekim @DialMforMara They're working on it. The next version (coming soon) has a way to flag your account as migrated, which adds a prominent link to the new profile, and hides the follow button.
No automatic redirection yet, but maybe in the future.
It's been a highly requested feature since masto began.

@WelshPixie Someone over on twitter is doing art of some of the better parts: https://twitter.com/sketchshark/status/941096945308770304
@Fenreliania @DarkestKale That's my understanding as well. Defragging on a platter hardrive was to put the parts of files near each other, so the head didn't have to physically move all over just to read 1 file. SSDs don't aren't worried about that.
Another illustration.
These are sort of for a thing, but it's a thing that will probably never leave my head, so using them as practice.
