I think you are a little bit overstressing. I am definitely not an ms-lover, but here, guess, risks are not that big. First, as far as I understand, they have no rights for the code placed by users. Second, if they due to some reason will decide to change the hosting policy, they will give some time for migration or adaptation of existing projects.
I personally believe they will introduce free-of-charge service and some extended paid plans, no more than that. Censorship? I doubt.

I guess they also want to have stream of income from patents.
@schestowitz Oh, this case is just one that got attention from the West occasionally. Lot of lie is coming from all massmedia round the clock. Hype, hype and hype, twitter-style journalism, fast reaction without analysis etc...
