I'm watching a baseball game. They're interviewing someone and someone in the control room has their feed muted. I can hear the interviewers, but not the interviewee. Oh my, this is bad. The disembodied laughter is funny, however.

Super pumped to continue working on my weather alert bot (I call it the metabot because it's one program managing all the accounts) tonight. Although I may run into a problem with rate limiting on the API since it's by IP and I'm running it from one server...
The worst days are when you get so wrapped up in your work that you forget to eat lunch. I am remedying this dire circumstance.

So I hunkered down for a few hours and wrote a script that signs up for thousands of accounts on my Mastodon instance. There's a second script that logs into the email box and hits all the verification links, and a third that goes in afterward and gets the oAuth tokens. Can't believe I did this all in one night. I might even write the metabot I talked about earlier!
So I sort of "get" XPath now.
