Spent the last 20 minutes reading documentation and googling to figure out what an "emojo" is, and it just occurred to me that I may have been bamboozled
@kimdanes similar to spaghetto/spaghetti
@jordyd am I being lied to? Is this a double-bamboozling?
@kimdanes
real answer: the word is "emoji" and it's from Japanese iirc. "emojo" is a joke
@jordyd is it? or is emojort the real joke?
@kimdanes oh and regarding "spaghetto", that is technically the correct singular form in Italian. We don't say that in English because we borrowed the Italian plural as a mass noun
@jordyd I am so enlightened right now it's unbelievable
@kimdanes Language Is Fun
@kimdanes Also "sphagetto" is the diminutive form of "spago", so a direct translation would be "little string"
@kimdanes spaghetto*
@kimdanes always be suspicious of double pink kittens
@jordyd
* narrows eyes *
@kimdanes it's the singular of emoji
