OK, my bio says #Emacs, #Lisp, #Perl, #Wiki, #Switzerland, #Zurich, #biology, #tokipona, #history. But I get the feeling these hashtags are the prejudice I have about myself. I hardly ever post about that. I don't really know what the hell I'm posting about. What am I posting about? I feel like a human looking at other people's faces in order to know how they feel.
@kensanata Does any of us know? I try not to second-guess my toots and just shout into the void. As long as people keep following me and liking my toots, they must find me interesting for SOME reason.
@amdt True. Looking forward to seeing you toot about Tokyo. GNU, Linux, Lisp, Emacs, LaTeX and the Web. Instead of pictures of your trips within Japan. Although I seem to fave these most of all. :D
@kensanata Eh, we're all multifaceted humans. Tags are still useful, because if someone does want to talk to you about those topics, you'd be interested, right?
There's possibly some pressure to put on a performance on social media, but that's silly. Just be yourself.
@JordiGH True. I guess I'm often confused and/or curious about myself and others.
@kensanata I think that's fine. I mean, people looking for things that you *actually* post about are going to find your actual posts.
