Years ago, Emacs Wiki would display national days on all its pages, on that day. I felt it was a nice way to celebrate our international diversity. One country, one day, one message. So, on Jan 1 it would show 'Sudan, National Day, Haiti, Independence Day, Cuba, Liberation Day'. And on Feb 11 it would show 'Iran, Victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran'. Once or twice concerned users told me that the site appeared to be hacked. Good times! ๐ #smallstories
@kensanata Interesting -- the way the world can collapse into a calendar like that (and then, maybe not to be trusted?)
