Do you know of any #choral works for a #melancholy heart like mine? Something like the German Requiem by Brahms or Vespers (All Night Vigil) by Rachmaninov? Something to instill some spirituality in my hardened little atheist heart? I didnāt find Beethovenās Missa Solemnis but it didnāt touch me. Should I give it another try? @kensanata Brahms and FaurĆ© donāt sound like each other, but I hear a deep emotional similarity between them, and not only in their requiems.
