I just read an interesting article about https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolmanskop and the shit the colonists did to the local workers, and it got me thinking. There's never been a real debate about Germany's colonial past, I think? I guess the two world wars - and, you know, the Nazi stuff - kinda overshadowed it.
